We have kept the burgers simple allowing us to concentrate on providing well-cooked, beautiful tasting food.
The beef burger is hand made on our own premises from the organic Aberdeen Angus beef supplied from the herb rich fields of Rother Valley in the South Downs and has nothing added apart from seasoning just before cooking on the char grill.
A toasted flour bap, tangy mature cheddar cheese, fresh lettuce, tomato, gherkins and a homemade onion jam further complement.
Homemade relishes of Apricot and Ginger and Sweet Chilli and Tomato (home grown chillies) can add further depth and diversity to this burger masterpiece. The Old Firm of Tommy K, mustard and mayo are also on call if needed.
The Portobello mushroom burger is first slowly poached in white wine and vegetable stock before being finished off on the grill along with some garlic butter and homegrown herbs.
